On view: “Lore”

Everyone’s got a story. In Lore we begin to explore the intricacies of origins, overcomings, and the overall, of artists everywhere. Focused on the emerging artist, works in this exhibition tell the tales of what has been endured thus far on the way to final destinations. Across a span of diverse upbringings, artists are unpacking what has brought them here, in a range of different mediums. Paying homage to history, modern and contemporary societal structures, familial complexities, personal struggle, and the existentialism of the everyday, Lore crosses boundaries of medium to connect with viewers of similar and dissimilar beliefs and bringings.
